The company
We are a tour operator with more than 14 years of experience in creating tailor-made, group or individual tourism programs for challenging travelers and wholesalers around the globe. We count mainly agencies from Europe to our clients but we also provide services for various agencies from the USA, Australia and a variety of other countries. We are one of Chile’s most professional tour operators, our mission as company being to identify, meet and exceed the expectations of our clients, who can look forward to highly personalized services and a different travel experience.

As an experienced travel company we observe new trends and developments in the travel trade and are aware of new potentials, enabling us to anticipate our customers’ needs. Each year our young and animated
team offers 2-3 interns the chance to get to know our company, work in an international team on the base of travel orientated topics during a time span of 6 months.
Internship
The work of the intern student is in our booking department (individual and group), taking care of requests (quotations and reserves for the services in Chile) of our clients. The contact is principally by email, sometimes by fax and also by telephone (in case of emergency, complications with the live services, etc).
The communication with the client will be mainly in English. With the suppliers and colleagues one communicate in Spanish. The work is very dynamic, fast, diverse and sometimes intense.
We expect that the intern student can work independent, after a training of approx. 4 weeks.
General
The minimum duration is 6 months
We take care of lodging and cover the monthly cost
We will pay a monthly salary of CLP 60.000 (pesos chilenos) + accomodation
Anforderungen:
Requirements
Good knowledge of the Spanish and English languages (oral and written).
Studies in tourism or previous experience in tourism.
Age: between 21 - 28 years.
Flexibility and good disposition to learn new things.
Dynamic person with initiative, be able to combine and prioritize several tasks / bookings at the same time
Computational skills, knowledge of software like Word and Excel.
